For this summertime episode of the French-language Invisible Bordeaux Music podcast, we caught up with Thibault, Erwan and Léo, who, alongside Caro and Agathe, form the festive folk-pop quintet Jeko, whose EP Au fil des toiles has been available since June 2025 on CD and across all streaming platforms, and who are currently putting on a string of fine live performances across la Gironde and far beyond.
Together we discover some of the secrets behind the making of their music videos and the watercolours that accompany each song on the new EP, the moving origins of the songs “Le monde de Jade” and “Derniers mots”, why the latter became their very own Bohemian Rhapsody, why there are a few rolled r's in the lyrics, and of course we discuss influences, instrumentation, upcoming projects... and even the background story to their custom-made hats!
